The Tulsa Computer Society and
the Bethesda Adult Life Training Center
jointly operate a Computer Refurbishing Project
which takes donated old computers and computer parts, refurbishes them, and donates them to
schools, churches, and non-profit agencies, both in the Tulsa Area, and all over the world.
We have distributed computers as far North as an Indian School in South Dakota, as far South
as a church in Chile, as far away as several locations in Russia, and other countries
receiving computers include Belize, Guatamala, Mexico, Jamaica, Nigeria, and many others.
We have developed some tools and procedures which we use ourselves, and which we have provided to
some other Computer Refurbishing projects which we have helped start. The purpose of these pages
are to document some of the tools and procedures we use in that effort.
